- You are 18 to 79 years old.
- You have a confirmed H. pylori infection (or you are known not to have it).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have not taken antibiotics, acid-reducing drugs, or H2 blockers in the last month.
- You have never had a previous H. pylori treatment, stomach surgery, stomach bleeding, or stomach cancer.
- You do not have liver disease, kidney problems, or a current inflammatory disease.
