Who can take part
- You must have advanced or metastatic stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that cannot be removed with surgery.
- You must not have had any previous treatment for advanced disease, though prior chemotherapy before surgery is allowed if the cancer returned more than 6 months later.
- You must be in generally good health, able to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0-2), and have adequate organ function (like kidney, liver, and blood counts).

- You must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 90 days after, if you or your partner could become pregnant.
