This study looks at factors related to breast cancer risk and outcomes. If you are coming to MSK for a breast biopsy or are a new breast cancer patient having surgery there, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You are a woman age 18 or older
  • You are coming to Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) for a breast biopsy because of a suspicious finding, or you are a new breast cancer patient who will have surgery at MSK
  • The suspicious area or breast cancer must be at least 1 cm (about the size of a pea)
  • You do not have a cancer that is only microinvasion (very tiny, spreading within the milk ducts)
