Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must either have normal bone density or have been newly diagnosed with osteoporosis (based on a common bone density test called DXA).
- You cannot have taken vitamin D supplements, bone drugs, or steroids in the last 3 months.
- You must be willing and able to give a blood sample and have your medical information collected.
- You cannot have other serious illnesses or conditions that might affect bone health, like kidney disease, autoimmune disease, or cancer.
