Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 40 years old.
  • You have a vitamin D level below 10 ng/mL (or normal vitamin D levels if you are in the healthy control group).
  • You have not taken vitamin D or calcium supplements in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have any bone disease, neurological disorder, or recent leg surgery or injury.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is not over 30.
