Prebiotic soda and blood sugar in prediabetes

Who can take part

  • You must be between 30 and 70 years old.
  • You must currently drink 2 to 3 regular (non-diet) sodas every day.
  • You must have prediabetes (fasting blood sugar 100-125 mg/dL or A1c 5.7-6.4%).
  • You must have a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 35 (overweight to mildly obese).
  • You cannot be taking diabetes medications like metformin, insulin, or Ozempic.
