Study of MR-61 to slow nearsightedness in children and teens

This trial tests if MR-61 can help slow down the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children and teenagers. It may be an option for patients between 3 and 18 years old who are already nearsighted and have no other eye problems.

Who can take part

  • You are between 3 and 18 years old.
  • Your nearsightedness is at least -0.5 diopters (a standard measurement).
  • You have no other eye diseases or conditions (like strabismus or glaucoma).
  • Your astigmatism (irregular lens shape) is less than 1.5 diopters.
  • The difference in nearsightedness between your eyes is less than 1.5 diopters.
  • Neither of your parents has severe nearsightedness (over -6 diopters).
