Liquid Biopsy for Liver Cancer After Y90 Treatment

Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)

This study uses a simple blood test (called a liquid biopsy) to learn more about your liver cancer after you receive a targeted radiation treatment called Y90 radioembolization. The goal is to see if the blood test can help doctors better understand how the cancer responds to treatment.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a type of liver cancer called HCC, and your cancer is at a stage called BCLC 0, A, B, or C
  • A tumor board (a group of liver cancer experts) has approved you for a treatment called Y90 radioembolization
  • You have not had surgery or another procedure to remove or destroy the tumor that would be treated with Y90
  • You can come to all the follow-up visits your doctor recommends for your care and for this study
