AI vs. pathologists: Which diagnoses cancer better?

This study tests a new AI system called COSMO against pathologists to see which is better at diagnosing cancer from digital slides. If you are an experienced pathologist, you will review slides independently, and your results will be compared with the AI's.

Who can take part

  • You must be a board-certified pathologist with a specialty in neuropathology, lung, or urologic pathology (or general anatomical pathology).
  • You need at least 3 years of experience diagnosing tissue slides in a clinical setting.
  • You must currently work in a job that involves reading diagnostic pathology slides.
  • You agree to review up to 300 digital slide images on a secure platform within a set time frame.
  • You cannot have been part of creating or testing the COSMO AI system before.
