Mindfulness for stress in pregnancy after infertility

This study tests whether a mindfulness-based stress reduction program can help women who became pregnant after infertility treatment feel less stressed and more connected to their pregnancy. You would learn simple mindfulness techniques and see if they improve your adaptation to pregnancy and reduce anxiety about your baby.

  • You became pregnant after infertility treatment.
  • You are between 10 and 28 weeks pregnant.
  • Your baby has no known abnormalities.
  • You do not have a current psychiatric diagnosis.
  • You are not currently doing any other mind-body programs or prenatal classes.
  • You can communicate easily and want to join the study.
