Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease within the last 10 years
  • You currently have or have had slow stomach emptying or ongoing constipation
  • You are able to swallow multiple large pills without help
  • You are on a stable dose of your regular medications (except certain Parkinson's drugs) for at least 60 days before the study starts
  • You are not taking any of the following Parkinson's drugs: levodopa/carbidopa, levodopa/benserazide, or anticholinergic agents
