This study uses a blood test to help doctors better understand and manage mild traumatic brain injury (concussion). If you had a mild head injury in the past 12 hours and have certain symptoms, researchers want to check if a new blood-based approach can improve care.

Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and had a mild head injury (with a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 13 to 15) in the last 12 hours.
- The injury was from a blow or jolt to the head, and you have at least one sign of brain injury (like passing out, confusion, or memory loss).
- You also have at least two common symptoms such as headache, nausea, dizziness, or vision problems.
- A blood sample can be taken within 12 hours of the injury (and before any brain scans).
- You are not currently on a breathing machine, do not have a penetrating head wound, and are not being treated for a stroke or similar neurological emergency.
