Long-term study of proteins in spinal fluid from neurologic patients

Neurologic DisorderCentral Nervous System Diseases

Part of Brain & nervous system clinical trials.

This study will look at leftover spinal fluid from people with brain or nerve conditions to find proteins that may help diagnose or track these diseases. If you are already scheduled for a spinal tap or brain surgery, your extra fluid could be used for this research.

NCT07456358Recruiting
Immune attack targets in brain disease

This study looks at the immune system's role in neurological problems caused by cancer immunotherapy or autoimmune diseases. Researchers will collect spinal fluid to find out which immune targets are involved, which may help improve diagnosis and treatment.

NCT05288842Recruiting
Study spinal fluid and brain changes in dementia types

This study looks at spinal fluid and MRI results in people with Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, or normal thinking (controls). It aims to understand differences in brain-related cells and measure what might help explain or track these conditions.

Lille
NCT06958341Recruiting
Brain and nerve disease registry with optional fluid collection

This study collects extra fluid from a spinal tap to learn more about brain and nerve diseases. It may help find better treatments in the future.

NCT04692324Recruiting
Test spinal fluid tests to help identify brain tumor types

This study looks at spinal fluid (cerebrospinal fluid, or CSF) to find markers that may signal a brain or spinal tumor or related abnormal growth. If you have a suspected tumor near the CSF spaces, these results may help doctors better classify what’s going on.

NCT06636201Recruiting
Cerebrospinal fluid study for surgery patients

This study collects and analyzes spinal fluid from patients having surgery with spinal anesthesia. It aims to learn more about the fluid's composition to help understand neurological conditions.

Study collecting spinal fluid from patients needing a lumbar puncture

This study collects cerebrospinal fluid (the fluid around the brain and spinal cord) during a lumbar puncture. It aims to improve how doctors use this information for accurate diagnosis in patients who need the procedure.
