Who can take part
- You (and a study partner, if needed) must be able and willing to do a lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
- You must be able to have an MRI scan, with no MRI safety problem
- Your weight must be at least 45 kg
- If you’re in the Alzheimer’s or frontotemporal dementia groups: your thinking test score (MMSE) must be 16 or higher
- If you’re in the Alzheimer’s or frontotemporal dementia groups: you must have a study partner to help after the spinal tap
- You must not have dementia from another cause, and you must not have certain major health or infection problems
