Who can take part

  • You are 65 or older.
  • You broke your hip from a minor fall and had surgery for it.
  • You have not had a stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, or a muscle-weakening condition like myasthenia gravis.
  • Your weight is under 100 kg (220 pounds), and your height fits the robot suit.
  • You do not have a serious infection, cancer, blood clot in your leg, pneumonia, or bedsores.
  • You are willing to follow instructions and have not joined another research trial in the past 3 months.
