Who can take part

  • You have advanced bile duct or pancreatic cancer confirmed by biopsy.
  • You have had cancer-related pain rated 4 or higher on a 0-10 scale for more than a week.
  • You are scheduled to start your first systemic cancer therapy, such as immunotherapy with or without chemo or targeted drugs.
  • You are in good enough health to walk and care for yourself (ECOG 0-2) and expected to live at least 3 months.
  • You have not had a celiac plexus nerve block or ablation before.
  • You do not have severe bleeding problems or major organ failure.
