Who can take part

  • You have advanced cancer that has spread or can't be removed by surgery.
  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You have severe pain in your upper belly or lower back (score of 5 or higher on a 0-10 pain scale) even with pain medicine.
  • Imaging (CT, MRI, or PET scan) shows the cancer is near the celiac nerve bundle (a nerve cluster behind the stomach).
  • If you are getting other cancer treatments (chemo, targeted therapy), you can pause them for one week before and after radiation.
  • You have a recent CT or MRI (within 28 days) that shows the area to be treated.
