Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with advanced bile duct cancer (Bismuth IIIb or IV) that requires removal of the left side of the liver.
- Imaging shows the right hepatic artery is invaded by the tumor and cannot be safely repaired during surgery.
- Your general health is good enough for surgery (ECOG score 0-1), and your liver function is stable (Child-Pugh score A or B).
- Your main organs (bone marrow, liver, kidneys) are working well enough based on blood tests.
