Immunotherapy for chronic hepatitis B after HBsAg loss

Chronic Hepaititis B

Part of Immune system & allergy, Infections clinical trials.

This trial tests an immunomodulatory therapy for people with chronic hepatitis B who have already cleared the surface antigen (HBsAg) with a specific treatment. It aims to understand why some people achieve a cure and how to improve outcomes.

Recovery and maintenance strategies for chronic hepatitis B

This trial is for people with chronic hepatitis B who have already cleared the virus with interferon treatment. It tests ongoing strategies to help maintain their health and prevent the virus from coming back.

PD-1 antibody and peginterferon for chronic hepatitis B

This trial tests a combination of a PD-1 antibody (a type of immunotherapy) and peginterferon alpha for people with chronic hepatitis B whose virus is already under control but whose surface antigen levels haven't improved much with standard therapy. It aims to see if the combo can help reduce the hepatitis B surface antigen further.

Sequential Pegylated Interferon After RNA-Targeted Hepatitis B Therapy

This trial tests a sequence of pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) shots for people with chronic hepatitis B who have already had a significant drop in their virus levels after taking a newer type of RNA-targeting medicine. The goal is to see if this approach can help clear the virus even further.

ASC22 with peginterferon to cure chronic hepatitis B

This trial tests whether combining ASC22 with peginterferon can help people with chronic hepatitis B achieve a functional cure (clearing the virus for good). It's for patients whose HBsAg levels are very low and who are already on stable treatment.

NCT05771402Recruiting· Phase 2
Combination treatment aimed at clearing hepatitis B long-term

This Phase 2 study tests a combination treatment to help people with chronic hepatitis B stop having detectable hepatitis B surface antigen (called HBsAg). If successful, it may move you closer to a “functional cure,” meaning lower ongoing virus activity over time.
