ASC22 with peginterferon to cure chronic hepatitis B

Chronic Hepatitis b

Treatments studied

Part of Digestive system, Infections clinical trials.

This trial tests whether combining ASC22 with peginterferon can help people with chronic hepatitis B achieve a functional cure (clearing the virus for good). It's for patients whose HBsAg levels are very low and who are already on stable treatment.

NCT05771402Recruiting· Phase 2
Combination treatment aimed at clearing hepatitis B long-term

This Phase 2 study tests a combination treatment to help people with chronic hepatitis B stop having detectable hepatitis B surface antigen (called HBsAg). If successful, it may move you closer to a “functional cure,” meaning lower ongoing virus activity over time.

NCT05769816Recruiting· Phase 2
Combination treatment aimed to cure chronic hepatitis B

This Phase 2 study tests a combination therapy to help people with chronic hepatitis B reach a “functional cure,” meaning the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) is lost for a sustained period. If you qualify, you’ll be closely monitored to see how well the treatment works and whether it’s safe for you.

NCT06920329Not yet recruiting
Peginterferon therapy for hepatitis B with clinical cure

This study tests whether additional peginterferon treatment can further reduce the virus in the liver for people with chronic hepatitis B who have already reached a clinical cure. You would need to have two liver biopsies to check the virus levels.

NCT06092333Recruiting· Phase 2
New combo therapy for chronic hepatitis B

This trial tests a new medicine (VIR-2218) combined with a standard injection (peginterferon) to see if it can better control chronic hepatitis B. It may be an option if your virus levels are low and you haven't had recent treatment.

NCT06696664Recruiting
Genetic study of chronic hepatitis B cure with long-acting interferon

This study looks at genetic factors that may help people with chronic hepatitis B achieve a clinical cure when treated with long-acting interferon. It aims to find out why some patients respond better than others.

NCT06457477Recruiting
PD-1 antibody and peginterferon for chronic hepatitis B

This trial tests a combination of a PD-1 antibody (a type of immunotherapy) and peginterferon alpha for people with chronic hepatitis B whose virus is already under control but whose surface antigen levels haven't improved much with standard therapy. It aims to see if the combo can help reduce the hepatitis B surface antigen further.
