Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You are generally healthy and have no history of genital herpes in the last 6 months.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
  • You have not used certain medications, such as steroids for more than 14 days or anti-herpes drugs, in the past 6 months.
  • You have not had a recent vaccination (live vaccine within 14 days or other vaccines within 7 days).
  • You do not have a history of severe allergies, autoimmune disease, cancer, or heart problems.
