Studying body changes in IPF and PPF patients starting anti-fibrotic drugs

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis) or PPF (progressive pulmonary fibrosis).
  • You are about to start a new anti-fibrotic medication (either nintedanib or pirfenidone).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are able to make your own decisions and give informed consent.
  • You have not taken anti-fibrotic medication before.
  • You have not lost more than 10% of your body weight in the last 3-6 months.
