Who can take part

  • Be between 2 and 85 years old.
  • Have a wound that has not healed within a certain time: a leg ulcer for 6-24 weeks, a surgical wound for 2-24 weeks, or a skin opening for a medical device like a feeding tube or catheter.
  • The overgrown tissue in the wound must be at least 2 mm high and 10 mm long.
  • Be in generally good health and able to attend all study visits.
  • Be willing to provide written permission (consent) if an adult, or have a guardian give permission and you give your agreement (assent) if a child.
