  • You are 18 years or older at the time of your infection surgery
  • You have a confirmed or likely infection of a joint replacement caused by strep bacteria
  • You had surgery for the infection between 2013 and 2024 at a participating hospital
  • You did not have the infected joint removed (resection or amputation)
  • You did not take antibiotics for more than 6 months before your surgery
