Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must be currently treated with hypoglossal nerve stimulation for sleep apnea with an AHI score of 15 or higher.
  • You must be able to give informed consent.
  • Your sleep study must have been done at Antwerp University Hospital.
  • You cannot have serious nose, throat, or stomach conditions, or be pregnant.
  • You cannot drink more than 20 alcohol units per week or use hard drugs.
