Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have stable coronary artery disease (stable chest pain or discomfort).
  • A CT scan shows a 50-90% blockage in at least one major heart artery (2.5 mm or larger).
  • If the blockage is 50-69%, you must have typical or atypical chest pain (at least 2 out of 3 features: lasts less than 15 minutes, triggered by activity or stress, relieved by rest or nitrates).
  • You have not had a prior heart attack, stent, bypass surgery, or known blockage of 50% or more in a major artery.
  • You have not had certain stress tests (exercise ECG, stress echo, stress SPECT, or stress CMR) before joining.
  • You do not have a metal implant (like pacemaker, artificial valve, or orthopedic plate), severe heart failure, complex arrhythmias, or claustrophobia.
