Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with total colonic Hirschsprung disease confirmed by a biopsy
- You had a first surgery as a newborn to create a stoma (opening in the belly for stool)
- Your next surgery is planned as either a robot-assisted Duhamel procedure or a modified Soave pull-through
- You are able to return for follow-up visits as needed
- You do not have Down syndrome
- Your surgery is not a single-stage procedure without the newborn stoma
