  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with diabetes.
  • You have no history of thyroid disease or thyroid surgery.
  • You are not currently taking any thyroid hormone or anti-thyroid medication.
  • You have not taken any medications that affect thyroid function in the last 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
