Blood test study to track markers in diabetes

Who can take part

  • You can (or your guardian can) sign informed consent/assent to join
  • You’re in one of these groups: type 1 diabetes, adult type 2 diabetes, antibody-positive people without diabetes (certain A1c range), or adults with prediabetes or low A1c as a control
  • Your weight is at least 30 kg
  • You’re willing to provide blood samples (up to about 100 mL if applicable) and allow review of medical records or lab results
  • You do not have key exclusions like active infection or currently treated cancer
  • You haven’t had certain immune-modifying treatments in the last year
