- You are 18 years or older.
- Your health is generally good (ASA physical status II — meaning you have mild disease without major limits).
- You are planning to have a C-section with spinal or epidural anesthesia (awake but numb).
- You do not have any condition that makes regional anesthesia unsafe (like infection at the needle site, bleeding problems, or allergy to numbing drugs).
- You do not have problems preventing use of a virtual reality headset (like blindness, deafness, eye infection, epilepsy, claustrophobia, or cognitive impairment).
- You are not in active labor and have no pregnancy-related complications (like preeclampsia or bleeding before delivery).
