Who can take part
- You are pregnant and scheduled for cesarean delivery (c-section) using spinal anesthesia (numbing medication injected into the spine)
- You are at least 37 weeks pregnant
- You are carrying a single baby (not twins, triplets, or more)
- Your BMI is 40 kg/m² or less
- You are not on chronic opioid pain medications and do not have a chronic pain condition
- You speak English or Spanish fluently
