Who can take part
- You are 18 to 75 years old and can give consent.
- You belong to one of these groups: endurance athlete, strength athlete, healthy control, or PAD patient.
- Endurance athletes: do intense aerobic training (like running or cycling) at least 3 times a week for 60+ minutes.
- Strength athletes: do intense strength training at least 3 times a week for 60+ minutes (no extra endurance training).
- Healthy controls: do less than 2 times a week of physical activity for under 30 minutes, with no known vascular diseases.
- PAD patients: have peripheral artery disease at Fontaine stage I or IIa.
