Who can take part

  • You have severe kidney disease (eGFR less than 30) but are not on dialysis, OR you have end-stage kidney disease and have been on regular dialysis for at least 3 months.
  • You are generally in good health aside from your kidney condition.
  • You do not have other serious illnesses that could interfere with the study, like uncontrolled heart disease or diabetes.
  • If you are healthy (without kidney disease), you must have no significant medical history such as stroke, seizures, or major organ problems.
