  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have diabetic kidney disease with well-controlled diabetes, or you are a healthy adult.
  • You do not smoke or use nicotine products more than 5 times per week, and you agree not to use them during stays.
  • You are willing to avoid marijuana and related products for 30 days before and during the study.
  • You agree to use birth control as required and to not donate eggs or sperm for a specific time.
  • You have no major medical conditions like cancer, infections (hepatitis B, C, or HIV), or severe depression in the past 5 years.
