Who can take part

  • Men or women who have gone through menopause (at least 2 years since last period)
  • Between 40 and 75 years old
  • Overweight or obese (BMI between 25 and 35)
  • Currently eat 3 or fewer servings of dairy each day
  • Do not smoke and have not smoked in the past year
  • No serious health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, asthma, or kidney disease
  • Not allergic to milk protein or lactose intolerant
  • Not taking medications or supplements that affect blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, or brain function
