Who can take part

  • You must have had high blood pressure before you became pregnant.
  • You are currently pregnant.
  • You do not have any serious heart problems like cardiomyopathy, angina, or coronary artery disease.
  • You do not have a current substance abuse problem.
  • You are not pregnant with more than one baby (twins or triplets).
  • Your blood pressure is not severely high (uncontrolled or dangerous).
