AmBisome for fungal infections in children with blood cancer

  • You must be between 1 month and 18 years old.
  • You have a blood cancer (like leukemia or lymphoma).
  • You've been taking a preventive antifungal medicine (triazole or echinocandin) for at least 7 days.
  • You developed a new fungal infection despite that prevention.
  • You have not used amphotericin B in the last 30 days.
