Who can take part

  • You are newly diagnosed with T1N0M0 papillary thyroid cancer (a small, early-stage tumor).
  • You have not received any cancer treatment yet, like radiation or chemo.
  • You are planning to have surgery (removing part or all of the thyroid) and lymph node removal.
  • You are able to have an ultrasound with a contrast dye (no allergies to the dye).
  • You do not have severe health conditions that might affect ultrasound results.
