- You are scheduled to have a procedure for atrial fibrillation using the Varipulse catheter
- You are 19 years of age or older
- You have not had a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) in the past
- You have not had a previous procedure or surgery for atrial fibrillation
- You have not had a blood clot in the heart or an embolic event in the last 90 days
- You have not had heart surgery or a heart attack in the last 90 days
