- You are 18 years or older
- You have atrial fibrillation and plan to have a catheter ablation procedure
- You have not had a blood clot in your left atrium, a new stroke, or heart attack in the last 6 months
- You do not have certain heart conditions like congenital heart disease, valve disease, or a pacemaker
- You have not had a catheter ablation before
- You can have a clear 3D ultrasound image of your heart (transesophageal echo)
