Who can take part

  • You are 39 years old or older.
  • You have a physical health status of ASA II, III, or IV (meaning you have some health problems, but not critically ill).
  • You are scheduled for a urological surgery that uses a scope (like kidney stone, bladder tumor, or prostate surgery) and is not an emergency.
  • You will be staying in the recovery room after surgery.
  • You do not have dementia, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or a history of head injury.
  • You do not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse, and you are not taking medications for mental health conditions.
