Who can take part

  • Your baby was born in Brazil and you lived in Brazil during pregnancy.
  • Your baby was born at least 37 weeks into the pregnancy.
  • Your baby is 1 year old or younger when the breathing symptoms start.
  • Your baby has been admitted to the hospital or seen at a clinic for at least 24 hours with breathing symptoms (like cough, fast breathing, or trouble feeding).
  • Your baby hasn't gotten any other RSV shot or medicine, and hasn't had a blood transfusion since birth.
  • You or the baby's legal guardian agree to take part and sign a consent form.
