Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer that cannot be treated with breast-conserving surgery, or you choose to have a mastectomy with immediate implant reconstruction.
  • You are healthy enough for surgery (ECOG score 0-1).
  • You have not had cancer spread to other parts of the body (Stage IV) or certain types like inflammatory breast cancer.
  • You have not had other cancers in the past 5 years (except cured skin or cervical cancer).
