Who can take part

  • You have advanced gum disease (stage III periodontitis).
  • You have at least one gum pocket that is 4mm or deeper.
  • You have bone loss visible on x-rays that goes partway down the tooth root.
  • You have at least 4 spots in your mouth that bleed when gently probed.
  • You have not had any gum treatment in the last 3 months.
  • You are between 30 and 70 years old.
