Who can take part
- You are 18 or older
- You have advanced gum disease (stage III-IV) with at least 4 teeth on each side of your mouth that have deep pockets (5mm or more)
- You haven't had professional teeth cleaning or gum surgery in the past 6 months
- You have at least 10 teeth on one side of your jaw
- You are not a smoker
- You don't have serious medical conditions like uncontrolled diabetes, active infections, or cancer treatments
