Who can take part
- Child must be 4 to 17 years old
- Diagnosis of leukemia, lymphoma, or a head or neck tumor
- For the prevention part: must be within the first 3 days of a chemotherapy cycle and have no mouth sores yet
- For the treatment part: must have mouth sores that started within the last 3 days
- No history of seizures, epilepsy, or sensitivity to light
- Parent or guardian must sign a consent form, and the child must agree if 8 or older
