Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 80 years old.
  • You have a diagnosis of stable COPD with specific breathing test results (FEV1/FVC less than 70% and FEV1 less than 70% predicted).
  • You are a former smoker with at least a 10 pack-year smoking history.
  • Your COPD has been stable (no flare-ups or respiratory infections in the last 6 weeks).
  • You are willing and able to join a pulmonary rehabilitation program.
  • You are not taking any antioxidant or vitamin supplements in the last 4 weeks.
