Who can take part

  • You have COPD with a lung function test result (FEV1) between 30% and 85% of normal after using a bronchodilator
  • You are on the best medical treatment for COPD as recommended by your doctor
  • You haven't smoked for at least one year and are not currently smoking
  • You haven't had a COPD flare-up (exacerbation) in the last 4 weeks
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 35
  • You don't have other serious health problems that would make exercise difficult
