Who can take part

  • You have triple-negative breast cancer (meaning tests show no HER2, estrogen, or progesterone receptors) that has spread or is locally advanced and cannot be removed by surgery.
  • You have not had any previous chemotherapy or other cancer treatment for advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer.
  • You are in good enough health to be up and doing light activity (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
  • You have no history of severe allergic reactions to drugs, especially antibodies or similar treatments.
  • You have not had prior treatment with drugs that target PD-1/PD-L1 or VEGF proteins.
