Who can take part

  • You have a lung infection caused by nontuberculous mycobacteria (germs found in water or soil).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have medical records from between 2015 and 2025 (for the part of the study looking back at past cases).
  • If you join the part that looks forward, you must be willing to give a sample from your lungs (bronchoscopy) and be stable enough for the procedure.
